Poker Host: Congratulations for winning the July Leaderboard! stoop44: Thank you! Poker Host: Let us know a little about you. When did you start playing poker? stoop44: My name is Marc, I’m 49 and I live in Laval, neighbor of Montreal. My first language is French. I start playing 4 years ago online, I was playing play money and freerolls.. Poker Host: Do you play live, or are you an online player mostly? stoop44: Mostly online, but I play small buy in tourneys in bars in Montreal, where poker is not completely ''legal'', but tolerate. I’ve also played an event (1k) in the 2006 WSOP that I won online. That was a great experience. Poker Host: Do you think that the poker scene in Canada has changed this year in any way? stoop44: Well, we can feel the effect of the American law it’s not too positive as we lost neteller and other sites who are not accepting Canadians anymore. In other ways, poker is more popular than ever in Canada. Casino of Montreal is supposed to offer poker in October 2007. Poker Host: What’s your worst bad beat story? stoop44: Honestly, bad beats don’t give me nightmares...I know it will happens once in a while. But I can recall I had QQ against 55, there’s a Q on the flop and turn is a 5, and river is another 5...that was messy. Poker Host: What’s your best poker winnings so far? stoop44: I don’t play cash games or big buy in tourneys. Most of the time, I play sit and go for $10 or $20. My goal since 2 years is to make $100/ week without depositing. So far things going great. I like competition like the Leaderboard, in fact, the $1500 entry that I won this month must be my biggest winning so far in a short term. Poker Host: Is there any PHteam player you like to play with? stoop44: I love the Leaderboard competition, first thing I do when I open my pc is to watch the standings. Phteam14 (Wang) is an aggressive player, not easy to play and not always easy to deal with. Phteam15(Tomas) is very pleasant to play with, mixing well, he plays solid and always has a nice word for other players. Poker Host: Thanks and good luck stoop44: Thank you, and I’m looking forward to the month of August...
