The $175,000 weekly guaranteed qualifying poker tournaments are played Monday through Saturday at 2:00, 7:15, 10:45, 13:00, 16:00, 19:00 and 23:30 EST with buy-ins for as little as $5 + $.50. You may also play in STT's (single table tournaments) for your seat to the weekly guaranteed poker tournament that start as soon as the table is full. These STT qualifiers have buy-in amounts of $12 + 1 or $6 + $.50. About Guaranteed Poker Tournaments
When playing an online poker guaranteed tournament, "guaranteed" basically means that the prize pool for the tournament will have a minimum amount guaranteed by the poker room. For example, in the Poker Host $175,000 weekly guaranteed tournament, the prize pool will pay out at least $175,000 to the winners. When a guaranteed poker tournament has rebuys or add-ons, the prize pool could easily exceed more than the minimum that is guaranteed for the poker tournament.
