Poker Tournaments Online - Poker Qualifier Tournaments and Events |
|
In all poker tournaments and multi-table online qualifiers, players are given random table seats at the moment a poker tournament begins. One card will then be dealt to decide which player will receive the button. When it is your turn to act, buttons will appear for you to check, bet, raise, call or fold. All poker tournaments will be Texas Holdem, Omaha, Stud or Draw poker game variations. If you need more time to make your decision or are close to exceeding your tournament standard time, another button will appear (Time Bank). The time bank button will allow a player extra time to make a decision but will count down and eventually fold the player if no action was taken. Playing a Single Table (STT) Poker TournamentSingle table poker tournaments are tournaments that only require one table. The number of poker players required to start the poker tournament is limited. Single table tournaments are run on a consistent basis once the required number of players has joined the poker tournament. Playing a Multi-Table (MTT) Poker TournamentMulti-table poker tournaments are tournaments played on multiple tables with prize pools being awarded based on the amount of entrants. The maximum number of players that can enter the poker tournament may be limited. Re-buy Feature for Online Poker TournamentsThe re-buy feature enables players to buy back in to a poker tournament. Players have a limited number of re-buy options per tournament and can only buy back in to the tournament within the re-buy period. Players can re-buy at any time; if they have fewer chips than what they started the poker tournament with and still have re-buy options available, by clicking the chips button. The re-buy and add-on dialog box is then displayed at the end of the hand. The re-buy option is offered automatically to players that are eliminated from the online poker tournament during the re-buy period. Add-On Feature for Online Poker TournamentsThe Add-On feature enables online poker players the ability to bring more money to the table during the tournament. The Add-On option is offered automatically at the end of the hand after the re-buy period has ended. Players only have this one Add-On option playing in multi-table poker tournaments. Deal Making Feature for Online Poker TournamentsThe Deal Making feature enables poker players on the final table to make deals regarding the final prizes. Deal making is used in single table tournaments or multi-table tournaments and enables players to settle the tournament without needing to play until the end. When the Deal Making feature is enabled, the make deal icon will be displayed. Table Balancing during Online Poker TournamentsAs a multi-table tournament progresses, the multi-player poker system consolidates tables and tries to maintain an equal number of players at all remaining tables. When this happens, a message is displayed to all poker tournament players notifying them that tables are being consolidated. If a player needs to be moved to maintain balance, the multi-player system randomly selects a player at one of the tables with the most remaining players and moves that player to one of the tables with the least remaining number of poker players. The player that is moved will be seated at the new table as far away from the big blind as possible, according to the available seats. This advantage equalizes the disadvantage of being moved to a poker tournament table where the player is less familiar with the opponents. |
